The market is held at Community College Gippsland's Leongatha Campus in Howard Street and run from 8.30am to 1pm
The concept is for people to bring a basket and go home with enough produce to cook a beautiful meal or several meal. With a great ambiance, live music and a marquee for people to sit and enjoy a coffee and tasty food.
Come out and support the market. They are also seeking expressions of interest for potential stall holders.

The seaside town of Inverloch hosts a Community managed Accredited Farmers Market on the last Sunday of the month.
These markets are approved by and members of the Victorian Farmers Market Association.
Located along Inverloch's beautiful foreshore, come along to enjoy a day of great local produce, a terrific range of local wines and chilled live music!

Learn the skills to create restaurant plated meals, using produce from the Jacican kitchen garden and Gippsland producers.

The Port Albert Market is held on the 4th Sunday of the month (excluding January & Easter - these Markets are held Australia Day & Easter Sunday). The Market offers both indoor and outdoor stalls and runs all year. Stall sites are $10.00.

Port Albert is located in beautiful South Gippsland and is the oldest port in Victoria. Visitors are encouraged to come along and see what Port Albert has to offer...

South Coast Show and Shine - raising money for Eastern Health Foundation Cancer Research.

Cars, bikes, trucks, tractors, army tanks and rides. Live Armoury display, helicopter rides, live music, FREE kids activities all day including a face painter and tumble town play center. There will be coffee carts, slushies machine, ATM, hot and cold food and drinks all day. Fully licenced and catered for.
Awards given out on the day.

Held on the first Saturday every month, set in the contemporary and rural village of Koonwarra, this community event exemplifies the best of local produce, and was founded in November 2000 by a not-for-profit association of the regions growers, producers and specialty food-makers.
On wet days it is held in the adjoining hall. Dogs welcome on a lead.

Inverloch will come alive with the sound of Jazz over the Labour Day Long Weekend. More than 40 bands and hundreds of artists will be playing all styles of Jazz.

Come and celebrate the tenacity of gardeners in dry times at this year's Show. All are welcomed to enter from novices to experts and there are childrens classes - entries are free. The theme of the Show is "The Tree of Life" and the colour is green. Catalogues are available from Fran Grylls the Show Secretary, Foster newsagency, Welshpool Post Office or Yarram Information Centre.
Refreshments will be available and plants will be for sale.

Join us in Prom Country for a whole weekend of music, arts, creativity, kids' events, food & wine. The Prom Coast Festival provides a focus for community engagement and for showcasing the exciting opportunities available in the shire for both locals and tourists.

The biennial Festival, now in its 7th iteration, will take place from Friday March 15th to Sunday March 17th 2019. It celebrates creativity, culture, lifestyle and landscape via a range of events organised by community groups showcasing the region's artists, creators, performers and produce growers.

We’re pleased that this year the Festival involves the Town Halls of Welshpool, Toora, Mount Best, Foster, Sandy Point and Fish Creek. The events at these venues include rock & roll, chasing history, guitar music, melodic singers, a picnic and fun for children.

These are only some of the events in those towns designed to entertain you. There will be decisions to make about what to see and when, and what not to miss! The program is packed with music, food, books, games and lots of fun!

Formed in 1969 and still featuring founding member Mike Rudd, 'Spectrum' is a classic Aussie band that has helped to inspire many of today's pop music acts.

Spectrum's 1961 national number one hit, I'll Be Gone is well-known and still features on many modern radio playlists. Their five albums released up until 1973 provide a substantial back catalogue of songs to enjoy.

The Sandy Point Music Club is proud to be able to present the modern incarnation of 'Spectrum' at this not-to-be-missed concert.

A gripping musical theatre production about the disappearance of Margaret Clement, a wealthy heiress who became known as the 'Lady of the Swamp'.

Margaret lived at the decaying mansion 'Tullaree', surrounded by swampland near the Tarwin River, and her story has been documented in two popular books.

This story, one of Victoria's most intriguing mysteries, will be brought to life at Waratah Hills Vineyard via a musical theatre production by the L'Nane sisters: Patricia, Gay and Jacqui. The production has been shortlisted in the Pratt Prize for music theatre.

Enjoy a night of Rock 'n' Roll music and dancing at the Welshpool Memorial Hall on Saturday 16 March.

The evening will commence with basic rock and roll lessons and then you’re invited to dance the night away to the music of DJ Martin Sullivan.

Experience a musical journey through space and time with some of the most beautiful and memorable compositions in the history of music.

With Mount Best resident Tom Chalko playing classical guitar and Tatiana Chalko playing orchestra synthesizer, the concert will include music from many genres, including baroque, romanticism and jazz, right through to modern pop music.

Each musical performance will be complemented by a short summary of the piece in its cultural and historical context. Light refreshments will be served after the performance, and there will be a chance to chat with the artists involved.

A range of events celebrating children's literature in and around the town of Fish Creek. Events include: Rail Trail Story Time, Be an Art Detective, Make a Wind Chime, Great Paper Plane Fly-Off, Author/Illustrator talks and presentations, Scully's Musical Stories, Fantasy and Science Fiction for teenage and young adult readers, and an information session by Mandy Cooper on 'Being a Children's Book Council Awards Judge'.

Enjoy listening to two of Australia's finest young musicians as they perform a range of beautiful classical music. Percussionist, Thea Rossen, and flautist, Jennifer Timmins, have performed with orchestras including the Melbourne Symphony and Orchestra Victoria, and will be bringing their considerable talents to Foster for one performance only.

TROS is a community project in partnership with Parks Victoria to create a communal meeting place at the site of the current play ground at Tidal River.
The walks are generally about an hour and a half and are on tracks at the Prom. Participants are invited to walk at their own pace and can to stop at anytime.

TROS is a community project in partnership with Parks Victoria to create a communal meeting place at the site of the current play ground at Tidal River.
The walks are generally about an hour and a half and are on tracks at the Prom. Participants are invited to walk at their own pace and can to stop at anytime.

FEVER - Sat Feb 2nd
Fever! is a brand-new show devised for the Cafe Culture Series 2019. Rebecca Barnard, Brooke Russell, Monique di Mattina and Jacqueline Tonks belt out harmony versions of an exquisite choice of songs ranging from jazz, rock, blues, folk and original chart toppers from the past decade. These dynamic singers are accompanied by a talented band.

THE NEW HIP - Sat June 1st
Steve Blackburn (Fast Forward, Australia You’re Standing In It) at the piano will perform selected hilarious songs from his revue shows.
Melbourne’s best; Shane Ryall on guitar and John O’Hagan on upright bass.

CANYON - Sat Aug 3rd
Sharp musicianship and silken four part harmonies fuel this acoustic driven band who presents a flashback to 70’s radio sound. Featuring impressively penned originals inspired by the big names of Jackson Browne, Linda Ronstadt, The Band, Little Feat, Neil Young, Fleetwood Mac, Emmylou Harris, Crosby and Stills Nash and Young.

DR HERNANDEZ - Sat Nov 30th
Dr Hernandez plays and exotic tonic of rootsy electro-cumbia soulful boogaloo and funky reggae. Bringing a new twist to these traditions, the band combines electronic beats and Hammond-infused grooves with a three-part horn section, percussion and souring Spanish vocals. The musicians are Sally Ford (lead vocals, alto sax, flute), Patrick Cronin (trumpet, percussion, backing vocals), David Joseph (drumkit, percussion), Michael Havir (keyboards and sequences) and Peter Slipper (trombone and backing vocals).
