Special Guest Speaker: 2.00pm - 3.00pm
Christopher Warren - founder of 'My Green Butler'

Christopher Warren is the owner/operator of Crystal Creek Meadows (self contained cottages) in Kangaroo Valley, NSW. Christopher found that despite implementing many energy and water saving initiatives at his accommodation business, he was unable to reduce beyond a green ceiling and save further... Why? Because his guests were not involved.

He decided there must be a way to encourage his guests to be more energy and water aware to help reduce bills and to increase sustainability. He also wanted a way to improve the guests’ stay experience. From here 'My Green Butler' was born - a platform which helps accommodation providers and guests work together to reduce energy and water costs and emissions with the joint aim of helping local community groups plus providing guests with helpful advice and tips on what to see and do.

My Green Butler has been tested for 17 months and is now ready for trial. Local accommodation providers are being given the opportunity to trial My Green Butler (standard format) FREE for 12 months. In addition two businesses will be given the opportunity to trial the enhanced platform. Crystal Creek Meadows was runner up at the World Responsible Tourism Awards held in London last November where they showcased My Green Butler.
