Four local professional artists have been selected to facilitate a range of FREE creative workshops across the Shire, in four small halls in the month of June, 2021.

Each program is different, offering a unique arts experience, from ceramics to dance theatre. While some programs ask you to sign up for the full month of workshops, others are more than happy for you just to drop by. Please just make sure that you register your attendance beforehand.

All workshops welcome all ages and abilities.

WHY STORIES MATTER WORKSHOPS
Beatrice Imbert is an author, writer, photographer and artist but sees herself more as a creative storyteller. These FREE workshops explore unique way to express your own story through letter writing, voice, intuitive poetry and the making of gratitude.

FILL THE VOID WORKSHOPS
Develop your skills in contemporary movement, performance and theatre over 10 sessions with Samara Cunningham.
WHEN: All Mondays & Wednesdays in June, 4pm-6pm
Saturday 5th & 26th , 1pm-3pm
Final Performance, Wednesday 30th June 6pm

SHELL WORKSHOPS
Join Beth Arnold a local dyeing practitioner to create a walk-through art installation as well as a keepsake to take home. This will involve natural dyeing and hand sewing. Fireside soup lunch provided.

WE'RE LAYING THE TABLE WORKSHOPS
Workshops with ceramic artist Kate Sturat - Create objects in clay that tell the stories of gatherings around the table, the everyday, the celebrations and the social events that bring people together. BYO lunch.
WHEN: Sunday 30th May (introduction) 1pm – 3.30 pm
Sundays 13th, 20th, 27th and Mondays 14th, 21st, 28th, June 10.30am – 2.30pm
