The Prom to Tarra Bulga Drive

Tidal River Yanakie Foster Toora Welshpool Yarram — Balook

Wilsons Promontory and Tarra Bulga National Parks are both stunningly beautiful, but they are also very different. The Prom is coastal with beaches and sand dunes. Tarra Bulga features towering Mountain Ash, tree ferns and waterfalls. The best part is they are located an easy two-hours from each other. This drive links the two attractions.

The drive starts (or ends) at Tidal River in Wilsons Promontory. Take the C444 until you reach the turn-off to Foster, then take the C446 into Foster township. Once in Foster drive through town (and follow signage) until you reach the South Gippsland Highway (A440) follow this road for 50km. When you reach Yarram continue driving through town until you see the Tarra Valley Road turn-off (C484) - look for the Yarram Hospital on your right. Continue on the C484 until you reach Tarra Valley and Tarra Bulga National Park.
