Former Coal Mining Town
Korumburra was once home to a thriving black coal industry, but is now primarily a farming community. Korumburra's Coal Creek Community Park and Museum details the town's history and provides insight into what life was like back when the coal mines were operational. Activities vary from a ride on the Diesel Train or the Steam train. You can even hire your own interactive guide or Treasure hunt with the children. Modern Korumburra has a bustling shopping strip with a wide variety of stores, from fashion to food and great Opportunity Shops. Click here for more about Korumburra.
